Metro Last Light
 

Just found this while browsing the web tonight. Loved the 1st Metro! Can't wait for this one. I wonder how much this is going to stress PC systems??? Metro: Last Light -- Genesis Gameplay Trailer [HD] - YouTube

The first was was pretty enjoyable. But man it sure stressed my 3x 470's hehe. I had heard that Last Light will be a little bit better optimized for current hardware and won't kick the crap out of even the most powerful of cards.

Honestly, when all of the detailed are maxed out, I find Metro 2033 to still be one of the best looking PC games around.

Definite eye candy yes. But I still think that game engine needs to be optimized. The eye candy and framerates did not jibe. Crysis 2 with all the high res tweaks on ultra looks way better and runs better than Metro 2033.

It could be good but there is a good chance that it could be Crysis 2 all over again and all the work has gone into getting the metro 4A engine to run on the xbox/ps3. Not saying the game wont be good just that it might look the same as the last one.

Agreed, this game was very cool, both looking and story line. I believe I played the title with either Sli 580's (vanilla) or Tri SLi, cant remember now, I know I had everything cranked except DOF and was running right around the magic 60 FPS throughout (2560 x 1440). It most certainly ran better than my current FC3, with awesome graphics.

Hmm makes me want to put the first Metro on my games to play this Winter break (own it but haven't gotten around to playing it yet)

^^^ Yeah I think I had it in my Library for a few months before I finally played it, was quickly hooked!! (once you figure out the best weapons to use n how to cycle em).

I tried to play Metro 2033 but the UI while playing just didn't do it for me and didn't even make it past the start gate.
