Default Can we play Xbox games in Windows 8 ??

I just download Pinball FX from the store on my windows 8 , it install a Tile with a xbox icon on top of it, and when I play it log to my Xbox live account .......

No. They are simply integrated store fronts now. Basically all Microsoft Gaming falls under the "XBOX" name now. Same goes for Video/Music apps as well.

They wouldn't be compatible with a PC and a console. Too many conflicts.

I just wanted to add that this may very well change win the next xbox, though if it brings Gold to the PC I will be VERY upset.
