If Valve will support Linux you will definitely start seeing ATI and Nvidia develop drivers for the OS. There's money to be made where games are played. I see a lot of people building "Steam Boxes" if this happens.

I saw this coming. With rumors of the steambox, its quite obvious that it'll be running linux or some other free operating system to cut back on costs for the platform.

This is great news for us Linux folk. The only reason I have a Win7 partition is to game. Having NATIVE support for newer games would be amazing.
