Default Rockstar Vancouver -=> Toronto...

Anyone with ears on the grapevine in either city know much about the transition from Van to Toronto or other cities? I just finished Max Payne 3 and quite enjoyed it (after working out the glitches), curious to know what's changing at the office, and if GTA5 is being worked on in Toronto. The credits after MP3 were long and listed almost every R* office, so Toronto likely will have some hand in it.
Isn't there a college in Oakville that serves the graphic arts business? Sheridan maybe? I went to Seneca many years ago, I don't suppose any Seneca alum went to R* (?)

Rockstar North, which is based in Scotland, usually develops the GTA games. For the most part Rockstar Toronto has simply been porting Rockstar's games to the PC or Wii. From Wikipedia:

Quote:
While initially focusing on developing brand new titles such as The Warriors, in recent years Rockstar Toronto has taken the responsibility of porting Rockstar titles to the Wii console and PC. Their most recent project was co-developing a PC version of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City with Rockstar North, which was released on April 13, 2010.
On July 9th, 2012, Rockstar announced that it will be expanding the studio over the next six months. The expansion will move the studio to a brand new facility in Oakville and create 50 new jobs. The expansion plan also includes closing the Rockstar Vancouver studio and merging the 35 developers with the Toronto team. The move is being financially supported by the Government of Ontario [1]

Apparently its to do with tax credits and consolidation. ON currently offering 40% tax credits as opposed to BC's 15%. Dont quote me though I read it a couple days ago in the paper and not 100% sure
