Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road - Kickstarter

Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road: "A Year of Adventure" by Jane Jensen — Kickstarter

Just wanted to bring peoples attention to this kickstarter for Jane Jensen's new game studio.

Taken from Kickstarter page:
Quote:

Jane is known for games with complex, dark plotlines. She created the Gabriel Knight adventure game series at Sierra On-Line and the recent Gray Matter. And in the past eight years, she designed and directed leading casual games including Women’s Murder Club, Dying for Daylight and Deadtime Stories at Oberon Media/I-Play Studio. Now she's returning to her roots and founding an adventure game studio. Robert, Jane's husband, produced GK1 and has written music for many of Jane’s games. His endlessly hip band, The Scarlet Furies, did the toe-tapping themes in Gray Matter and Dying for Daylight.
She is also the story consultant for the new game from Phoenix Online, Cognition.

Just as a heads up she is having a vote for one of the three concepts on the 14th to 15th. Do be able to vote for that you would have to pledge at least $16 by 9pm EST, April 13th.

I know I pledged as I really loved the GK series and quite enjoyed Gray Matter and would love to see more games come from her.

I loved Gabriel Knight, but I'm not as sure about this one....

I hoped onto the Leisure Suit Larry, Wasteland and Shadowrun Kickstarters. I'd love a 'reimagining' of the SNES game. So much potential in that or a RIFTS game.

Just an update on this:

18 days to go and about $53,000 still needed. The first game she will be doing is going to be called Moebius. Here is some info about it:

Quote:

Malachi Rector is an antiquities dealer who hunts down artifacts all over the world. After his upscale Manhattan store is destroyed in a fire, he's hired by billionaire Amble Dexter to investigate a series of events and document them in his meticulous way. The first event is the death of a young woman in Venice. She was found hanging from a bridge. As Rector investigates her life, compiling facts for his dossier, he realizes that the beautiful and talented young woman -- and the interrupted path of her life -- had great hidden significance. It appears that Amble Dexter and his associates are playing with the fabric of life in a way Rector never imagined was possible. Even he, Rector himself, is part of a larger pattern. He must figure out who is doing what, and whether their intentions are for good or ill, before he can decide if he will play his pre-scripted role -- or try to change the outcome. This is a metaphysical thriller ala Dante’s Equation and Gabriel Knight.
I hope that their studio can do good and then maybe we will get another Gabriel Knight down the road.
