And I was supposed to go for wings and beer tonight too. Hmmm...wings & beer or X-com.
Maybe I should take the laptop and do both!

What? A PC demo out 2 weeks before the release date? Blasphemy!

Kudos to 2K and Firaxis for doing it right.

People are already tinkering around with the ini files. Also, apparently all the video files for the final game were included in the download so people are accessing those too.
You can bump up the difficulty & also get yourself a 5th soldier (for the 2nd mission) by doing as little as opening an ini file in notepad & changing a couple of numbers.

The only thing I can honestly say, is I wish I could have a middle ground on squad size (true the original sometimes allowed way too many troops) but the squad size is so small...Not that I want to say anything bad about the game, just my thought.

Have you tinkered with the difficulty yet?
Set it to 3.0 (Impossible) - completely different game & feels much more like the original.
You can also give yourself a 5th soldier
