Alan Wake PC/360 comparison!

Alan Wake screenshot comparison: 360 vs. PC | PC Gamer

Well this really shows how dated the 360 is and this isn't even the best looking PC game.

Nothing surprising there really.. Would like to see BF3 comparisons though!

JJThomp February 16, 2012 06:19 AM

yeah I'd like to see BF3 comparisons... comparing DX9 to DX9 can only be so much better... compare DX9 Xbox vs DX 11 PC and you will really see something.

Use the code over at Greenmangaming for %30 off, I just did.
Alan Wake

I thought about it, is it worth the $24 for this game?

On2wheels February 16, 2012 03:16 PM

I just went for the standard ed, and ya that's worth it so far to me. But I like the atmosphere of suspense games, and Remedy listens to customers.

Apathetik February 18, 2012 12:35 PM

This game is worth $30 for sure. Its better then most $60 games that come out nowaday.

On2wheels February 19, 2012 11:13 AM

I know! It's more than I expected, and I'll be sad when it's over. The greenmangaming deal for $20 is a steal. Remedy deserves it.

edit: going to rant here cause the Rants thread is too general.
Damnit, I despise immature 'trolls' in the Steam forums. In recent months, Steam has grown so much that the forums get swamped with useless bickering, and threads get off topic way too fast now. This Alan Wake thread is an example

I really enjoy forums like HWC where, in my short time here, members have been helpful and respectful. It really is a shame the Steam forums are getting so difficult to get useful help in now.
