buying skyrim from steam-is there really no added tax in Canada

just went to Welcome to Steam to see total price for skyrim, it was 59.99 USD and towards the end of the checkout process said no added tax, does paypal add tax or is it really just 59.99 USD grand total

There is no tax with steam.

There is only tax on digital purchases if the company has a physical presence in Canada.

Example: World of Warcraft By Blizzard in California = no tax
StarWars: The Old Republic By EA which has a Canadian presence = tax

what about for 'back to karkand' when ordering from origin, I have BF3 and just checked the price, says $15, no tax, is that USD or CAD, it doesn't say

but when I went to the origin checkout to price check, I was logged in, and it said no tax

no matter, I'm like to get my budget as close as possible since I'm poor

I bought EA products on steam lately and there was no tax, MOH, NFS HP.

Origin charges tax.

Getgamesgo no tax.

Jibz means buying through the Origin Store. I had to pay tax on my BF3 pre-order through the (what once was) EA Store.
