Default Steam Storage Issue

Hey everyone, I'm running into a space issue here. Due to the awesomeness that is Skyrim I have Steam installed to my SSD and it is staying that way. My issue is that I have a LOT of games on Steam and several of them are quite large. I am quickly running out of space and want to leave 10-15G free on the SSD so that it can have some buffer to work efficiently. I still have another 3 large games that I'd like to install but I was wondering if there is anyway to install a game to the HDD instead and specifically tell Steam to find it at that folder? I really don't want to have two different Steams downloaded and have to switch between them if I want to play a game that isn't installed to the disk that it is on. Is it simpler to just fork up the cash for another 120G SSD and RAID them?

TL;DR --- If Steam is installed to my SSD can I put a game on my HDD and have Steam still able to access and run it? Is it just simpler to buy another SSD and RAID or just to have two different Steam's on my SSD/HDD?

Just create symbolic links.

An example command: MKLINK /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Game1" "D:\Steam\Game1"

Although honestly, I don't find games benefit much from being on SSD's. As such, I just keep Steam on my RAID10 array instead.

2 options for you:

Symbolic Link Creator: Download Portable Symbolic Link Creator 1.1.0.5 Free - A GUI for mklink, Microsoft Windows symlink utility - Softpedia
can be used to create symbolic links for other folders as well as Steam

Steam Junction: Latest Chatty - Shacknews.com - Video Game News, Trailers, Game Videos, and Files
Best option for Steam use that I've found, can move individual games to other folders/drives. I have 2 SSDs and a HDD, with Steam games spread across all three.

I use Steam Mover and it frikken kicks ass and is easy to use.

Steam Mover - traynier.com

Not sure if Steam junction can move them back or not, I'm guessing it does but don't know since I don't use it. I do know that steam mover does and really can be used to move any folder to another drive. I have found it to be very useful.

I found that Steam Mover only allowed you to have one alternate drive/location, while Steam Junction allows multiple drives. Steam Junction will also move the Valve stuff (Half-life games for example) that are kept in the commonapps directory and not in their own folders.
