On sale for $19.99 on steam, worth the buy? Is the Digital Deluxe version for $24.99 worth it?
Looking for something new to play, been playing Battlefield P4F and getting a little bored.

Don't think so. Can't imagine that a lot of servers are still populated. I had fun while it lasted (got it a few weeks before BF3).

Pre sale I was getting 1-2 full/near full servers, and about 3-4 semi populated.

Now, according to the steam server browser, there is about double. It isn't like most games, so I suspect a lot of people to leave, and the numbers to go back to before.

Yes it is worth it! There servers are actually growing and the game is a lot of fun. There is a learning curve so if you don't want a challenge then don't get it.

I ended up not picking it up because of the above suggestions and somebody on another forum said they were upset with what Tripwire did to the game, but maybe I'll pick it up in the future I'm sure it'll be on sale again. Watching some gameplay videos the game looks more realistic, can't just run and gun cod rambo one man army style.

Uh, you'll actually be surprised... As long as you have an SMG or the MkB42 (AKA: StG44/MP44) you can Rambo all you want. Who dares wins

sorry for bumping an old thread but folks need to get this game.
I bought it recently as I was bored of BF3 and honestly I find the intensity and realism of RO2 to be alot more exciting than BF3. With a good realism server my adrenaline gets up pretty high. Gfx are nothing to freak out about but decent. Its not a fast paced game but it can be nerve wrecking. I highly recommend it to anyone. Its worth the $15 or so that it can be bought for these days. Buy it.
