When this game comes out- I'll buy a PS3 to play it if it meets expectations. One thing I really miss is a great racing game since I layed up my PS2. It's as close as I'll ever get to drving my dream cars the way they should be driven. Quite a wide diversity of years of cars- lots from 02-06- the 76 ferrari interests me.

Sony has revealed the full feature list of Polyphony Digital's PS3 racing title Gran Turismo 5 Prologue this morning, along with a new batch of screenshots. http://www.shacknews.com/images/ssho..._thumbnail.jpghttp://www.shacknews.com/images/ssho..._thumbnail.jpg
The game is set to include six tracks for its 60+ vehicles to race on, including Suzuka Circuit, Eiger Nordwand, Fuji Speedway, London City Track, Daytona International Speedway and High Speed Ring.
Prologue will also feature a Drift Mode, where players will be evaluated based on "drift angles, racing lines, and speeds within evaluation zones located at various turns on the course." An in-depth car tuning system, two player split-screen racing, 16-player online races, and new online and offline racing events round out the rest of the bullet-points.
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will hit the PlayStation 3 on April 17 for a price of $39.99, available for download on the PlayStation Store or at retail.

Too much imports ,and most cars are the same but tuned and shit. meh.

MacJunky March 6, 2008 02:37 PM

.. No Plymouth models? How could they? Bastards!
/me pets 1967-1971 Plymouth Barracuda and 1970 Dodge Challenger.

crazyazn March 6, 2008 04:36 PM

You guys notice...? No Toyota cars at all:ph34r: (Besides the IS F...but it's Lexus)

MacJunky March 7, 2008 12:15 PM

Yea, I may dislike hatchbacks but come on, where is the AE86 Sprinter Trueno Advan Kurata?
And no 85 Honda Accords or 91 Civics(sedan) as well a real muscle cars either.
A sad day.

I guess getting a PS3 for some fun racing is now out of the question for the most part.

I missed the "full list" part when I posted it- how can that be ALL the cars? I guess there's no more mixed races by class- just those where all cars are the same model- I really enjoyed the classic muscel cars too- wish they brought them back- a fun challenge to drive and great looking
