Default Star Wars The Old Republic Beta Key Giveaway

If you haven't been in any of the SWTOR betas, here is your chance.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta Key Giveaway (Competition) - NowGamer

I entered yesterday and got my key today for the up and coming final stress test beta weekend (which is presumably next week). If you're curious if you'll like the game and don't want to shell out cash to try it, this is for you!

If the beta isn't under NDA a report on the game would be nice. :)

I believe it is, at leas the last beta I was in was for the most part.

All I can say is that it is a rather fun game, miles better then any other mmo I've played, and I personally feel it'll help kill WoW (along with the panda expac). My fiancee is a slightly picky gamer and only likes certain types of games (eg found WoW very boring, Fable 3 too much doing nothing not enough killing enemies), she however found it a lot of fun the first time we played in the beta (together) and made sure we pre-ordered two copies of the game (so we can play together again). What really puts this game apart is the fact all your interactions with NPCs (other then craft and skill trainers) have FULL dialog and interaction like in Mass Effect 1 &2. You can also choose whatever alignment regardless of what side you pick. This means I can be a light side sith, or you can be a dark side Jedi.

Thanks for the run-down Arinoth.

Light side sith? Dark side Jedi? This is going to make baby Yoda cry. "Discombobulated I am. Game designers on crack they are." :p

I'll agree to what he said.

I enjoyed my betas week-end alot. The full dialog parts really get you in the game and I liked the combat alot. Much different pace then other MMOs I've played, Much more dynamic and less "sit there, mash buttons and watch dps meter" type of fights. You need to move alot, time your abilities, there is no auto-attack, it's fun! :)

I just had a beta key sent to me on the Bioware forums, for an unknown reason.
