Anyone remember the cyberpunk-styled game made by Bullfrog back in '93 and '94?

I just got a copy from a friend the other day and I got the dosbox emulator to play it, so once I get home today...well, let's say my Friday night is spoken for.

For those of you who never played it - it was a great game where you controlled up to 4 cyborgs, taking over the world for your mega corporation. You could tax the territories you controlled and increase your R&D to get better armour, weapons and equipment.

Just thought I would bring back some old memories for the few of you who did play it.

Holy crap, that's an oldie, though if I might add, one hell of a creative game for back then.

Talking about oldies...I'm personally getting ready soon to reinstall the first three Fallouts to get myself ready for the new one. God that's got me so giddy, Fallout was possibly one of the best RPG's ever (right up there with Baulders Gate).

I'm going through fallout 2 right now - I REALLY hope that Bethesda keeps some of that good 'ol natured black/dark humour in the game.

But 3 fallouts? I thought there were only 1 and 2...

Actually, I believe there was 4, but everyone pretends the fourth one never existed. Also, as for the third, I believe it was called Brotherhood of Steel, no where as good as the original two sadly.

I personally believe Bethesda is the perfect company for this, I think they have like...pixy dust to make anything awesome. Plus come on, they confirmed a dog, a DOG!

A dog?! YES! That is great.

Visually, I think Bethesda will do the post-apocalyptic environment justice and bring it to life for us. I was worried about them caring more about commercialization of their game than keeping to its roots. Took a look at the F3 forum and it seems that most of the fans feel that the original themes and undertones will be preserved. Thankfully!

Maybe I should turn this into an abandonware/old games thread...

Tyrian2k FTW!
