If you pre-purchase you gain access to the beta, so as long as you plan on actually play HotS then that shouldn't be a problem. I've held off mostly because I'm broke, but I'll also just wait for the actual release so i can jump into the campaign. I might get back into multiplayer again though and test my skills on the ladder :P

Doesn't Blizzard outsource it's cinematics? A feature film would be incredibly expensive

I will be grabbing this at some point. How is everyone in the beta enjoying it? I tend to play 4v4 the most. Usually gold, but I haven't played much in the last while so I will probably be dropped to silver for a while.

I've always been terrible at this game, well not terrible but never good, however I always have enjoyed the campaign and figure its worth it just for that and the few times that I go into skirmish mode. Theres just much too much micro for me, I mean theres no formations and units block each other an.... I just much prefer SupCom as a RTS game. As a narrative though Starcraft has been hard to beat so far.

Even though I am absolutely horrible at RTS, I still enjoy SC2 quite a bit. I've had beta access but tend to not bother with it as it's MP only and most of the people playing it are really good. I wind up getting destroyed.

Just another week or so and it's here though!
