Anyone getting this game but me?

Just put it in my PS3 and doing the install (that's the only game that could get me back into console gaming at the moment )

It is the inheritor of Demon's Souls : Best Game of 2010 on PS3.

I'm a bit irked at this game.

Demon Souls was a PS3 exclusive and then they released this game and now its not.

I'm still gonna buy it and perhaps one day I'll be able to finish Demon Souls as that game just makes me want to explode.

I'm in the same boat. I have an on-again-off-again relationship with Demon Souls. It's a fantastic game, but playing it requires a state of mind that I cannot fully commit to right now.

I will buy Dark Souls, but I need to beat Demon Souls at least once first.

Once you know what to do, the game gets pretty easy

But it's not for everyone, this game IS hard.

You need strategy, reflex and awareness to play this.

Yeah, I picked it up, enjoyed Demon Souls quite a bit, flippin hard though.

So far I think Dark Souls is even harder. Gonna take me a while to finish this one thats for sure.

After the first boss and the Red Dragon's bridge, it just keep getting better and better (and harder ... :) )

Yup, got the game Tuesday. Clocked an embarrassing number of hours on it so far.
Right now I'm just lost, not quite sure where to go.
And it would be neat if there were a vent server/Skype group or similar that a bunch of people could hop on while playing. I don't have any friends that have the game so I need people to talk to about it :P

Where are you stuck?

I'm on my way to Blightown with my Lvl 25 Enigma, just beat the Gaping Dragon (what a scary f'er) and just started a Wanderer, Lvl 11 right now, just beat Taurus Demon within 20 minutes or so, gets pretty easy on the 2nd character once you know what to do :p

Haha yea. I played about 6 hours on a pyromancer then started a cleric. The heal miracle is beyond helpful.

I'm level 38 on my cleric, beat the gaping dragon (scary but I found him incredibly easy. Beat him the first try and didn't get hit once. Didn't know I was walking into a demon fight either) also beat the moonlight butterfly and a bunch of others.

Not really suck anymore, it just took me a while to realize I had to go to blighttown. I bloody hate this place because it reminds me of world 5 in demon's souls
