The PC version looks a lot better then the console crap they released earlier in the month. I'd probably go and buy this game retail just to avoid the 30GB hit to my cap. Glad to hear single player has the same Max Payne feel we've come to love in 1 and 2.

Has anyone in Canada bought a downloadable Steam code from Amazon with a US billing address?

Have you guys that own this had many issues with the game? I went for the Amazon/steam deal, installed no problem but the game has some serious glitches, everything from mouse cursor staying on screen, to scripted sequences not running, to the character falling through the floor and hanging the game.

Was .NET 4.0 meant to be uninstalled for this to work properly?

edit: finally got it going, only after installing .NET 3.5 from the 230mb installer from MS. Can't believe .NET would cause such serious glitches, and according to the steam forums I'm not the only one. Great game once it runs, groundbreaking even.

edit: Less than one page of this thread is about actual gameplay, did anyone not like it that much? I'm really enjoying how much dialog Max has this time, after the first two games it's interesting to hear how his mind works, and that he's more normal than the first games implied (ie: swearing and chatting).

Amazon.com Gold Box: New Deals. Every Day.
Hellova deal if you dont have GTA4 either. $25 for both. Use a UPS Store address for shipping, it works, I did it.

Gameplay was good, even if you only get a few min of it before an unskippable cutscene every 2 or min. Lost interest in it by the 3rd chapter.

Holy crap the controls are clunky as hell, I get stuck in cover half the time having to replay different sections.

This really seems like a poor PC version of the game, maybe the console is better but I'm uninstalling this game after the third chapter as this game has WAAY too many problems with it to make it fun or even the plot worth it (which so far seems a little weak)

Really? I didnt find the controls that bad, there are much worse ports in fact. That's too bad, I thought the story was pretty good.

Yep, to me it's truly that bad and was not having a fun experience whatsoever. Also the story (or what I played of it) seemed rather boring/expect-able really.
