Friday is moving day, I won't be online. Too bad. I enjoyed the major events when I was playing Rift, hope I won't miss out too much on this one.

All existing players get 3 trial codes to send to a friend - it'll be Nov 15-18th. Most of my friends have already bought the game so I have some available.

The event this weekend was pretty sweet... Took around two hours to complete but the loot was definitely worth it. Also fractals are fun although I don't agree with the gated content (I am up to level 9 and it is very hard to find people to run it with you).

This weekend event was a PITA, and I got nothing useful out of the drops other then stuff to sell that has been driven down in price so much, it's pretty much worthless, considering the amount I had to fix my freaking armour because the Karka can flipping one shot me x.x

Well the free demo in November worked like a charm. I got gw2 for Christmas and have a few good hours in now. Just hit lvl20 and am really liking the game. It is my first mmo and I have no complaints. Other mmo games never interested me because of monthly fees and the fact I don't always game. Went for a warrior for my first character (I will start a second eventually). Anyone still playing much?

It's my first MMO as well. And I play frequently - on Darkhaven (LaughingCrow). GW 2 is a huge world with many game play options. Have two level 80 characters and the best has only 75% of the world explored after all this time. Seems there's more to like and more annoyances (mostly minor) than with most games. Keeps me off the streets LOL
