Damn, you beat me to it.

This was the first game that got me addictive to FPS. So much so, that back in Seneca (York Univ), i spent about 9+ hrs playing on their pub until i realize i had to eat. Been hooked to it all the way to 1.6.

Im definitely looking fwd to this, hoping it has crazy graphics (DX11) and hopefully they incorporate Eyefinity.

1.6 was my favorite as well (had some excellent university wide lan with 1.6...rooms full with max 5 ping for everyone). Had source for a while, but never kept going as much. I would probably pick up a new version.

hmmm.. yeah counterstrike my first FPS game. but still the graphic realistic r not really good. I would prefer waiting for Battlefield 3

I was lucky enough to get a beta key for CS:GO. All I can say is that if you are expecting 1.6-style gameplay, don't hold your breath.
