Haha ... Chrono Trigger ... Loved that ... Borderlands is the only other RPG I have played. I enjoyed it but was bored at the end and never bothered installing the DLC. I tried to play Fallout but didn't last longer than a couple hours.

Recommended titles:
1. Elder Scrolls Oblivion (& Skyrim when it comes out in November)
2. Dragon Age Origins (Not DA2 - that's just EA milking the cow)
3. Mass Effect 1 + 2

For Witcher, I recommend getting a few mods from ModDB
1. Texturen Mod (environment & building retex; install first)
2. Hi-Res Character Models
3. Inferno Edition (UI overhaul)
4. Dark Geralt (armor + PC retex)
5. Full Combat Rebalance (also makes combat more challenging and requires more planning, so install at your own discretion)
6. Scabbard Mod (install AFTER FCR)

These mods will make your Witcher 1 experience even better! Have fun!

Secret of Mana was my fav SNES RPG, and certainly in my top 5 all platforms combined.

I was a die hard FPS guy too. Now action RPGs are my favorite genre.

The best advice I can give you now is to get through Witcher 1 and 2 before Skyrim comes out :)

If Fallout had something to Drive, I think it would have been alot better, But it does have some good mods.

Oblivion Is Really good, But, you should do some DLing to get the good mods and texture packs.

ME1 bored me, ME2 was crazy good.
