Crysis 2 dx11 & HIGH RES pack performance

Running the WHQL 275.33 drivers on my 560Ti 1gb, the high res texture pack, and dx11, I get crap performance. FPS isn't bad, but IQ glitches galore. The worst is like the added smoke and effects are overlayed on the screen but some parts the overlay isn't there so I see the original game underneath. And when it was running ok, the difference just isn't there to me.
In dx9 mode I get way better performance on ultra settings with high res textures, and looks pretty good too. Anyone using NV hardware see this? I see a beta driver up now but no mention of C2 fixes.

Just finished a couple of hours:
With DX11 Patch and High Resolution Textures Patch - All settings at Ultra (Motion Blur disabled) - High Res enabled @ 2560 x 1440
Incredibly gorgeous graphics I must say, no comparison to how it looks in DX9.
Not too many Graphical glitches that I saw at all, gameplay on my rig was adequate, 45 - 75 FPS, seem to be in the 55 - 65 FPS more often than not.

2 x 580's peaked at 74C with Fans set at 75%

Hmm, maybe I will have to check it out now that it has the DX11.

Graphics aside how is the game?

^^^ Yeah seems alright...got FEAR 3 on the go right now as well ;)

I never played it without the texture pack so I have no idea on how it used to looked before. Seems to look very purty though. Tried "ultra" 1080p and my tri-sli 570s choke in some parts, "very high" is like butter. :haha: Temps seem decent though, 61C on top 55C at the bottom air cooled.

^^^^ What CPU n clock speed? Tri Sli 570 should rip through this at 1080! For that GPU configuration (3), your CPU should be clocked at 4ghz min.
Could also be the 570 VRAM limit of 1.2GB.

exactly. 570/580 card(s) need a very strong cpu not to be bottlenecked!

hires != high res nor hi-rez
it just doesn't

hires3rd person singular present, plural of hire

This post != valuable contribution to the topic.

I'm only using a single 6870 @ 19x10, so I highly doubt this "Higher Resolution" pack will do much for me aside from hurts my frames even more.
