That's so gay. Free to play, pay to win. The marketplace for TF2 just ruins the game.

What about those that bought the game?

All weapons on the "Store" can be crafted or randomly dropped in the game. I haven't paid for a single item and I have almost every item in the game.

Also on another note most of the new items usually end up being worse than the originals. It just changes up the way you play the game. I have yet to play in a server and had anybody complain about this and I've been playing TF2 for a long time.

There was more complaining about idlers than anything else and now that has been mostly fixed.

This is great news, Makes it a lot easier to decide what to play at our next LAN party! No excuses to not own TF2 anymore when its free!

Anyone who thinks "buying" a $20 hat that actually makes it easier for people to see you (and kill you) is "paying to win", obviously just has a huge raging hate on for item shops.

I hate item shops as much as the next guy, but the way Valve implemented it is fair, since new items =/= better items.

Although it does make countering a team a bitch sometimes when you don't know their equipment loadout.

TF2 is one on my games list I wished I could have gifted away if Steam allowed it.

I was a huge TF2 fan ... have hundreds of hours on my account. After the store though ... I slowly lost interest. I haven't played in months now, and probably won't. I'm fine with the free thing ... it's only going to flood the servers with noobs. lol

Yeah, I'm downloading it right now :haha:

I used to play this game all the time. Then the pay shit came along and I ran away as fast as I could.
