I went looking for the Warhammer 40k RTS games last night and couldn't find them at any local shops (Futureshop, EB games etc)

I think i heard a friend talk about Stalker, i will have to look for it when i go out again this week.

I did a quick 10 minutes of Call of Duty 4 online tonight and it was interesting... I will need more than 10 minutes to sit down and play it online though. Seems like it could get very good though from the first 10 minutes i did play.

Do you guys have links to these HL2 mods?

Counter Strike 1.6 > Counter Strike Source

Stalker is a good game, and sometime this year there SHOULD be a prequel coming out. And as for the mods, just google them, hell, just google "half life 2 mods" and you should have no problem finding sites that revolve around it!

All the HL2 mods are available on Steam. Just look under FREE and there should be a MODS tab. If you can't find it MODDB is a good place to go as well. I just did a search for HL2 SP Mods and here's the link. Plenty to check out but I know Minerva is one of the more popular ones.

All I have been playing lately is CoD4 multi-player, I would highly recommend giving that a try. At first it can be a little overwhelming as it tends to play totally different from the Single Player style.

If you want to join my buddies and I online send me a PM and I'll give my Xfire ID. We also have a Teamspeak server set up.

I have to throw in another vote for World in Conflict. Lots of fun if you learn the differences in the unit types, and become good at using all of them. And the game LOOKS sweet, graphically.

I'd give you a good recommendation but I find all games out to be so repetitive that I lose interest so fast.

I've played pretty much 90% of the FPS that came out last year and a few non FPS like Witcher and such but you know give me maybe a week sometimes two and I'll be bored of it due to repetition.

A few games I enjoyed for awhile was TF2, CoD4 MP, and Bioshock.

I got into WoW but bored with it already due to the insane amount of grinding after grinding after grinding and the worst part is the game doesn't even really start till level 40 and I don't feel like grinding another 20 levels to get there.

I've picked up Mythos right now tho its in beta and have been enjoying that for a few days but we'll see.

I'm looking for something along the lines of Age of Empires.....
World in Conflict looks kinda cool on their web site. Hell Gate London looks interesting as well. Any recommendations?

I'm stuck in Half Life 2.... can't keep going.
Just finished Crysis and loved it.
TF2 very addictive....but looking for something a little deeper.

HGL is a game I've been tempted to try but I've heard many bad things more than good things about the game so I've been VERY hesitant. I really would they would allow a trial of some sort.

HGL is a mess. Bad bugs, poor performance, lack of content. The same maps over and over again, with minor variations. I picked it up hoping it would be my new RPG home, but I completely lost interest in it within 30 days.
