wireless network and gaming

IS their disadvantage to use a wireless when gaming?

I'm assuming you are talking about Wireless mouse.
Personally,
Wireless Mouse needs batteries
a) add weight - I dont like it.
b) need replacing - I dont like it.

Wireless can be effected by signal strength, interference, etc... I use a wireless mouse at work and most times is great but sometimes it drives me nuts... If that happend while gaming, I would toss it through my Monitor

I did try a wireless mouse years ago and never when back after going back to corded. I just feel HEAVY, and laggy at times.

I would just stick with corded for gaming.

I correct the title, I means wireless network

big disadvantage from what I've experienced. unstable connectivity, lag, drops, etc...

go hardwired, or get something like this: XAVB5001

sort of.

I notice it most in FPS, I play starcraft on my laptop over wireless though and I don't notice. playing team fortress 2 is really unstable though. I don't like wireless for first person shooters, but it works decently for some game types.
