Default Anyone Playing World in Conflict?
Now that I got my new rig built, I wanted to see what a good DX10 game could look like, and ended up falling in love with this sort-of-RTS game from Massive Entertainment. Just amazing, even just to watch, let alone play. Any HWC folks playing?

P.S. I suck at it, but I am learning. LOL

Ì played for about a week and gave the game to my lil bro. I found it got old fast, but I have a short attention span.. ;)

I am not a big RTS gamer but have been tempted by this one. Especially for $30! I love the whole "Red Dawn"-ish storyline and from what I have read it is not like managing hordes of unite like SupCom or something. But there are soo many games I want to play I will probably hold off on this in favor of more FPS action :)

pretty good gameplay, awesome graphics, more stragitic gameplay than first person shooters. It was $20 at futureshop at boxing day or sometime around then.

I got the game on release day, finished it through, probably the best RTS game around. Online gameplay is also very fun. Nice graphics and effects.


Anyone know if there will be an expansion pack for this? I'm eager!

I play it, it's a good game if you can get a hang of all the different types (e.g. support, infantry, artillery, air). If you cannot get the hang of them all, it'll get repetitive fast.
Overall, I find it's a great game with great graphics. Though I'm still a sucker to FPS.

It was a good game when I gave it a whirl, multiplayer was a blast (almost reminded my of a...battlefield meets RTS), but saying that, it's is not the best RTS game around. Company of Heroes probably takes the cake for being the most in depth, while I still keep my back behind Starcraft and Command and Conquer as being the most enjoyable around.
