I would also suggest EVE for a good MMO. I never thought I would get into it, but as of late I find it really is something to spend my time on. And there are no 'End Game' Scenerios really. It has a whole different element than the regular MMO's i've played.

That being said, I want to try RIFT as well.

I played rift a little prerelease and thought it was pretty good. But it's an evolution of the MMO genre, not a revolution. I didn't buy it because I'm not into online gaming anymore, but I'd probably give it a try if I was. I'd also like to note the client seemed very well coded and the art assets are well done.

Rift does look quite interesting.. Might have to give it a go. The last MMO's I really played were Metin and Lineage II :P

I play it. I play a Guardian character on the Reclaimer Shard (aka server).

I wish NCSoft/Arenanet would hurry up with Guild Wars 2. Out of all the MMO's I tested at PAX last year, that and Firefall were the two most exciting multi-player titles. Haven't touched an MMO in years (thank god) but GW2 may just be the push back in.

GW2 is the "evolution" of the MMO imo. It will be interesting to see how a WoW inundated gaming population receives it.
