You know, I started watching the first trailer and as I continued through the others (I Watched the ones on steam as well) I kept thinking to myself, "Hey, isnt this just HL2 but with Koreans instead of Combine?" They emphasized the fact that you have inferior weapons to your enemy, you are a civilian fighting with civilians, that your fighting in ruined city type things littered with things you should recognize. These screamed Half Life 2 to me.

Though I have always liked the concept that is what I generally call a "post apocalyptic world" meaning not demons rising from the ground to kill us all necessarily (though, enjoyed reading the Painted Man actually) but basically a fallen western world, post nuclear, post economic collapse, post anything that leaves cities burning, but if I cant shake the HL2 feel from it i dunno, it might not be for me.

ya I heard it was a lot like HL2 as the points mentioned above plus you stay and fight and don't fly away like in oh so many games till the next mission. everything is continuous like HL2. It has its faster moments and then its slower moments like HL2. You go from fighting the enemy to talking to people in your make shift camps just like HL2.

So it will be a lot like HL2 which is a very good thing to me as I think HL2 is one of the best games ever made.

Agree with you on that! But I'll wait and see if this really is any good. I hope it is, but in any case I won't be buying it day 1.

Same gonna wait for reviews. Not like pre-purchasing has any incentive other than some day one unlocks for multiplayer.
