Default new card but crysis runs low i think....?

hey everyone here is my rig specs

AMD Phenom II 1055T Six Core Processor 2.80ghz
-ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard
-evga gtx 580 oc edition video card
-Coolmaster v6 cpu cooler
-12gb ddr3 memory 1333mhz corsair
-windows 7 64 bit os
-cool master haf case with 3 fans
-corsair 750w power supply with 80 plus
-22 inch benq led monitor

im noticing when i am playing crysis which is my favorite game i am going between 38-55 fps and i am playing at 1680x1050.
i am pretty sure with this card i should be getting more than that but i can tell what the problem is....
in about a week i will be getting a asus Crosshair IV Formula Motherboard but will that make a differnce in gaming fps performance even if i do overclock or not. and forgot to mention if i get this board how many ghz do u think i can overclock to compared to my old asus m488t-m and stock 2.80ghz...

thanks

My System Specs

Default

the 1055 usually can go near 3.6 3.8. But the rog board will definatly not love to have all ram slot populated.

the Crosshair IV Formula Motherboard is part of the ROG ( top of the class) series of Asus Republic Of Gamers. For the ram, is usally better to use only 2 sticks than 4 for achieve more stable results, but I'm surprise you have 12 GB with your board, since you have 4 slots. Are you using 3 sticks of 4 Gb ?

I also like Crysis but don't expect major performance gain with good hardware, the game is just badly coded and offers by itself low fps.

I think?

as long as benches,metro2033 runs as they should, then forget crysis performance? :)

now if benches show low fps,for your config, then do worry about drivers and such

new mobo wont help fps, oc will.especially at that resolution
