What to do with old games

I apparently have a lot of semi-old to older games that I have disks for and either no longer play or own them on steam. So my question is does anyone know if EB games (shudders at the thought of the insulting percentage they give you, and for that matter the stores opinion of pc games) or some other preferable store takes them?

With Steam there's no much you can do but sell the account. With the game discs you'd be better off selling them online either on a forum, ebay, amazon, etc.

give them to some poor solus along with your old puter? you know the people who cant afford even the cheap stuff? :)

With experience as an old(er) gamer, I'd suggest hanging on to the better titles for when you hit your nostalgia stage in a few years.... :)

Other than that.... I'm not even sure if EB Games carries used PC games any more. Do you build machines for friends and family? If so, they might appreciate having a game or two installed.

Look fore a local store that has older games and stuff, trade fore somthing you haven't played.
I have two small stores in my area that carry N64 and what not.

EB wont take them because they think everyone is a pirate. I know I wouldn't give you money for old games cause too likely the keys are taken.

Yeah, I've been wondering about this too, I've got a few old games that I really have no interest in keeping, and am trying to get rid of as much stuff before my impending cross-country move.

I've listed them on kijiji for free, and have had a total of 0 inquiries.

a lot of people don't use digital distribution. Little kids that don't have access to credit cards, or older people who distrust online purchasing or don't have a credit card for various reasons. I managed to sell a ton of my cd games off on craigslist last year. Cleared out basically all my games except RTSes that don't seem to interest anybody

I keep most of my older games but the games I don't want I just give them to Value village or the like
