Default DOS gaming, o the good ol' days....

Anyone remember the time when developers had to focus on things such as gameplay and story in order to sell games?

I recently started loading up my netbook with a whole bunch of dos games since its small screen doesn't make the graphics look TOO bad.

So what was everyones favourite DOS games?

I just spend a good 30 hours playing through Ultima 7 (part 1) and even so I didn't do a whole bunch of side quests.

Next up Ultima 7 Part 2.

I was and well still am a huge Sierra adventure game fan. So my list goes kind of like this: (Although I'll miss some for sure)

King's Quest 1-6 (Just did a run through of V about a week ago.) (Didn't include 7 or 8 in that as I just didn't like them that much.)
Police Quest 1-4
Space Quest 1-6
Quest for Glory 1-4
Leisure Suit Larry 1-5 (6 and 7 are just too new to be included here)
Gabriel Knight 1 and 2 (The first one is one of my favorite games of all times)
Gold Rush
Conquests of Camelot
Conquests of Longbow

I think that is about it for the Sierra ones. Now there were others as well:

Civilization
Commander Keen games
Original 2D Duke Nukem
Bouncing Babies (bonus points to anyone that even knows what that was)
Sim City (Between this and Civ, I killed so many hours)
Under a Killing Moon
Need for Speed (Original)
Test Drive 1 & 3 (Never liked the second one, I think it had a Porsche in the title screen or something like that)

Ok, I think that is enough for now.
