Blizzard Product Releases

Just came across this.

Seems to be somewhat old news (Dec 1st) but I figured I would post it for those, like me, did not know about it. Looks like next year Q4 could be quite interesting with the 1st starcraft 2 expansion (as well as some other SC2 game), Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3.

Interesting. I'm wondering what SC: Phoenix is. Also WoW Movie?!?!? WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWhat?

And Titan is their next MMO, which looks like it's still a couple years out, but no surprise on that one. Interesting is that it shows that it comes out the same quarter as the last WoW expansion. Q4 of 2011 looks to be good with SC2 expansion and D3 :D

Usually I'm skeptical of this type of thing, but I did watch or read (can't remember) a Blizzard dude saying to expect the other SC campaigns to take about 18 months each to be released, which fits this time line.

Starcraft phoenix... hmmmm SC FPS game??? never know

Bear in mind that Blizzard is a company who will spend extra time to complete a game instead of rushing it out, so these times might be a bit outa whack

wow movie has been in the works for a while, this sort of thing is easily faked, although this is still interesting, id guess Titan is project hydra, new mmo blizzard is working on not relating to the current 3 franchises

im gonna call it on D3, somewere in 2012 Q3, probably late, thats my guess, i cant see much else releasing mid year, actually they will probably release SC2 exp mid year then save d3 for christmas

Well people seem to think there is some credibility to it. Someone at Blizzard confirmed they were working on Titan recently, and Blizzard fired a number of people in China over the leak.

Most of those release times look accurate and some of them I was even predicting myself.

They'll back it up until they deem the game is fit to be released. They do that for everything, which is good. Rather have a quality product than a rushed product.
