There is just so much to do in this game it's ridiculous. 20+ hours in and I really haven't advanced the plot a whole lot. Which is good.

Does anyone know, by chance, is the main storyline very long?
Or is it pretty short like Oblivion?

Bugs. Glitches. Crossfire only loading the cards at 50%?
Oh yeah, dont even go near a Giant, you lose. And if you happen to run past someone that wants to talk to you? you automatically stop and the giant kills you. Sweet....

I miss Oblivion. Extremely unimpressed.

There are some things I really hate about the game... BUT...
I've certainly been putting more time into the this game than I've been putting into sleep for the last few days. :p
The game is bleedin' huge. I feel like I've put in my time but I'm only level 10 and there is sooo much more to be done (I've looked at guides).
As for stability/performance I have an i7 920 at 3ghz with a GTX570 at stock speed and I have had zero stability/performance problems on ultra settings.

Hahaha. Get to lvl 15 or so and they become less "challenging", and they are very non-agro....as a test, I walked up behind one to *touching* distance, he didn't turn on me. So, I cleaved his skull for him.

Yes, there are glitches, I get flash crashes to dsktop, probably the 2GB memory bug, but it happens only after 7-8 hours play and, on the latest one, I knew it was coming because dialogue exiting started to bug. Restart game, no problems.

I also think iBlurDeferredShadowMask looks best between 3-5 with all the shadow tweaks, but that one is subjective.

I can't believe this is not enabled on Ultra. the iShadowMaskQuarter=0 makes an enormous difference. the blacks in this game with that enabled are gorgeous. Have my display turned down a little from max so I really need to use night eye to see well at night. Game looks awesome. Cranked up the draw distance on trees as well. which makes looking over large areas more epic.

Yeah, they should have some of this stuff enabled by default.

Most of the time they won't hurt you unless you mess with them, or the mammoths near them.
Took me two times getting stomped by a giant to realize that I'm not tough enough to kill one yet.

Im still running a 1090T @ 4ghz with Xfired 6970s.... why the hell cant i max it out and keep it smooth? Anyone wanna lend a hand in that regard?
