call ahead to make sure they have some. My local one I know for sure is completely sold out of all edition CE or otherwise.

But I'll be going at midnight and then trying to get an hour or so in before I need to sleep. Too bad that strike doesnt effect me at all.

I'm thinking I will head to the launch party here in Edmonton. Now my CE from futureshop, has shipped according to the email I got from them so it is not that I need one, but I will go anyways and maybe get another one if possible. Not to sell, just will allow me to have it in my hands sooner.

Can't decide...chance it tomorrow for a CE and the cool tin case it comes in...

Or just bite the bullet and the digital one online.

edit: NM just bought it on Impulse....Couldn't wait any more.

The reason I think for getting the physical copy is that it is the same price as the digital, yet you actually get a real art book, real badge, real lithograph, and all that.

Yeah, that's true and that was a pretty big selling point...but the more I thought about it...I realized I wouldn't have any use for the physical items.

Another reason I went digital is because I know I won't have time to play tomorrow, and there was no guarantee that I'd get my hands on a CE. Tonight though, is a different story.

Side Quest Hint from a post on the BioWare forums:

Many of these (if not all are timed). Poster suggests that if you get a clue from someone for a sidequest, to tackle it as soon as you can or you may lose the chance... Apparently some have a short timer while others a longer grace period. The game does not give you any warning about them.

Edit: Other than to let you know you've failed it. The Citadel has several of these types and you can miss easily if you're not paying attention to what's being said while walking by people.

This is a bit annoying when combined with BioWare's concept of' Single Play is okay' if you do all side quests.

Gamestops are all out off CE's in Vancouver.
Futureshop's will not have CE's in store. From their forums:

"No midnight openings; we will be open regular store hours. Unfortunately all our CE versions have been pre-ordered online so there will not be any CE versions going to stores."

Hm, I guess standard edition it is at midnight at gamestop.

Yeah, EB games told me they stopped taking pre-orders for the collectors edition months ago. Kinda sucks, but oh well.

All the more reason to preload and play @ 9pm!
