Witcher 2 up for Preorder on Steam

So whos going to be the first to take the dive? I quite liked the first Witcher game and will probably eventually preorder it closer to launch but for now will just sit back and wait.

AFAIK CD Projetk hasn't given a firm release date yet.

It will also be available on GOG which confirms it'll be DRM free, unless you consider Steam DRM and purchase it from there instead.

It just got pushed back until May 2011, from a previously announced March date.

I enjoyed the enhanced edition. Bought in on a steam sale. Very high quality for a new unknown development house. Looking forward to the sequel.

Best deal is on D2d with one of those 15% codes floating around. I don't think Steam is neccessary for this title.

Can't wait. If I did pre-order games, Witcher 2 would be one of them. I always wait until the first ~$20 off sale. By that time the first major patch, if one is needed, has also been released. Actually, the first Witcher is a good example of this. The release and the first patch had horribly long load times. It wasn't until 1.2, I believe, that the load times had been fixed. This was also when I purchased the game for about $25.
