Haha, I remember seeing that a couple days ago! The ending was pure awesome, can't look at the explosion for longer then 3 seconds or his rig crashes. How about that for a benchmark tool? XD

It's not played in real time it is rendered. Simply a demonstration of what the physics can do in the Crytek engine.

The footage is made using the command sys_physics_cpu 0 and capture_frames 1. This (supposedly) offloads physics processing from the CPU, but frames (and all world elements, including physics and graphics) are rendered one at a time in the game engine and then captured in image files. After finishing, you compile the frames into a series to make the video.
