Default Blizzcon

Big party going on in California right now. The hardware at this event should be pretty amazing.

Cool thanks for the link, I'm reading about the new custom maps Blizzard themselves are making. I would love to go to Blizzcon one year, it looks like it would be a great time, all of the Blizzard universes in one place! Did you pay to have the event stream to you live?

Actually my son went this year for his birthday, it was something he wanted to do so...
I dont play any of the Blizzard games but I do have an interest in the lan setups and networking gear they run here.

Hardware on display is rather boring :(

There are only a handful of rigs that are nicely put together - one that I can recall is a quad SLI in a modded 800D I think it was.

They have some ASUS "overclock with the pros" section, but I don't even know who they are, their name tags are flipped backwards, and you can't even see the screen they're working on. There were only three stations where you could overclock, and one of them got burnt out pretty early on in the day. Vendor booths don't seem as great as last year, and not as many freebies :(

Last year they had an Intel booth that gave away some crazy stuff like CPUs. This year they are giving away maybe two SSDs per day, and even then it's the 80GB and 40GB.

What was more interesting was the SlayersBoxer vs Fruit Dealer SC2 match :D

Shoulda asked her to turn around before taking the picture. You took it at the wrong angle.

Oh I didn't take it, I just saw this on Kotaku. Honestly, I don't think I'd be able to operate a camera properly with her around
