lol @ 250MB patch the day after release.

EDIT:

It seems the update breaks the no mouse acceleration fix that was the same fix as the original fallout 3. You now need to add:


fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0
fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0
fForegroundMouseBase=0
fForegroundMouseMult=0

to the control section of the falloutpref.ini instead of the fallout.ini. Make sure you make it read only afterwards.

Also, setting the water reflection quality to medium fixes a lot of stuttering, you can leave everything else on high.

i have everything set to ultra at 1440x900 and its runnin perfect for me

I am running everything maxed out at 1920 x 1080 buttery smooth since day one. The only thing the 250mb patch did for me is it seems like I am running faster than before.

I have encountered 2 crashes so far but am loving the game. Wish I had more time to play. The game is so fun and addicting. First going through as a total good guy. Then gonna go through as a total bad d-bag on a second play through.

I hate the legion.

Anybody find a good place to buy powerful weapons and armor? I have tons of money but only have crappy armor and my weapons seem to take forever to destroy some enemies. Also the AI isn't too bright. When I first encountered the legion they were all in a bunched up and I just tossed a couple frags and they didn't move. Or how I can lay mines directly in front of an enemy and walk backwards. The dumb AI walks into my mines every time.

for me I dropped ansio down from 15 to like 4 and mine doesnt really stutter at all on 1680*1050 on a gtx 260 core 216
