What do you suggest I look into? Don't want anything too complicated, the smaller the learning curve the better! TIA!

Bioshock maybe? Run around, find stuff, shoot stuff. Or other Tomb Raiders - there's about 6 of em!

Maybe Prince of Persia?

There really isn't much on PC in that action platformer adventurer style. But as mentioned there is Anniversay, Legends and Underworld for updated TR games. Of course there are also older TR games but they control differently and I am not sure how they run on modern computers? Some others that you might like with similar action/platformer gameplay are:

Prince of Persia games
Assassin's Creed games
Uncharted games (PS3)
Ratchet & Clank games (PS3)

Thanks for the feedback. Which of the POP games is the best?

Thund3rball September 21, 2010 06:01 PM

I think most people would agree that Sands of Time is the best. You can get it from Steam for $10. You can buy 4/5 PoP games for $45. The 5th game is down to $30 now IIRC.

I really liked the last Tomb Raider. Legend. About the closest thing to it is Drake's Fortune on the ps3 though.

give Assasins creed a try.

the God of War series perhaps?

Is this available on the PC platform?

I'm going to add my vote for Uncharted 1 and 2. It's an excellent series with a great story that grabs you right from the start. Of course... you'd need a PS3 for that.

For the PC there's almost nothing available, even amongst the XBOX cross-overs. You'll find a lot more in the puzzle-solving, point-and-click area; like Dreamfall or Broken Sword.

*EDIT*
