It always sucks saying this but I am glad I did not buy it. :/ (Errr.. I mean buy the rights to give them more money)
I wonder if anyone would ever happen to release a clone of the server software like with pvpgn. It likely is not popular enough for that though. :/

This is true, for some reason I thought it came out earlier this year and not in July.

Sounds like they royally screwed the pooch when it came to dealing with botters/hackers, which basically scared off too many legit players. A shame, if only because it sends out the message that the market doesn't want anything different.

3 months is pretty damn quick. I never heard anything good about this game, and I guess it's pretty broken to not even consider some kind of F2P model with micro transactions like every other MMO these days. Too bad for the people that bought it though. $50 + subscription = seriously hosed. :\

I think it had a lot to do with the content they were making people pay monthly for, and consequently no one wanting to pay.

It was a fun game, and should have been free (outside the initial cost of the game). It's not like it was persistent, if Guild Wars could do it they certainly could have.

Ya aside from WoW, it seems pretty much every other "Pay to Play" service has been a flop.

I think the only reason warcraft succeeded was simply because they have somehow managed to encode and deliver Cocaine through the computer screen. Or maybe it is in the mouse USB Crack through electronic osmosis
