But that is how all of Steam's big sales have been. Usually a good chunk of the games will be a certain % off and then games that are part of the daily deal have a higher discount. For example Shogun 2 will be back to 36.99 tomorrow after 13:00 EST (give or take, it doesn't always switch over exactly at the time it should) since most of Sega's catalog is on sale as part of the event.

Oh look, D2D has joined in the summer sale fun. Not sure if any of these are better or the same as Steam, but here you go anyways Direct2Drive.

Yeah.

It's always meant to encourage people to hold off on buying stuff in the sale until it's on the daily deals, and then on the final day when you know there isn't going to be any more, you just buy everything you can.

And yeah, I'd agree that you'll get more than $10 enjoyment if you like that style of game. I played through both the original and expansion SP campaigns a couple of times.

Well that one is bought.


edit: It was worth it. Played it a bit so far and for just over $3, you can't go wrong.
