Wednesday brings around another group of $6 games to D2D including Red Faction Guerilla and Gratuitous Space Battles until the 30th, while their daily Summer Ends deals has Borderlands and Football Manager 2010 for $9.95 until 10 am PST Thursday.

Meanwhile, Steam's Midweek Madness special has DroplitZ on for $2.00 until Thursday 5:00 pm PST. And no, I've never heard of it either, but for 2 bucks I might try it.

Thanks for the positive feedback Perineum. I'll refrain from posting any jokes about your mom.

So, I found the Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition on special for $10 on Steam today. It includes SS:1 HD and SS:2 HD, and the original versions as well. Save 75% on Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition on Steam

Direct2Drive's daily specials are the X-Com Complete bundle for $5.95 and Section 8 for $14.95. Summer Ends Event

Steam continues the Serious Sam special through the weekend, while today is Red Alert day at Direct2drive. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 for $7.50, and the stand alone expansion Red Alert 3 Uprising for $4.95. Some fun RTS stuff mixed in with some over-the-top cheesy cutscenes.

Just found this now, you can play the demo for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and are able to purchase the game and play it right now - apparently. Good for both PC and PS3

This weekend it seems Magic The Gathering: DOTPW is on sale for $4.95. been waiting for exactly that. This is the best digital version of MTG I ever tried and for $5... a no-brainer.

I already have DOTP and I can tell you its a horribly coded game, even for a console port. Bugs and exploits galore, multiplayer is beyond broken, the game crashes and can eat up resources like Crysis, and the game will probably stay that way since the user base is simply too small for the game to be profitable at all.

But for that price, I bought the second expansion just so I could play through the single player. (was never gonna touch it again after the second expansion came out and no bugs were fixed)
