That's good to know.

The only one I really dislike is EA installer as it has a limit on the number of times you can download and a time limit to do it (like 1 year I think). If I want to redownload the sims 3 in a year, I can't :(

There are ways around this, namely keeping a copy of the installer/the game on a secondary/storage hard drive when you are done playing it. I do that with most of my steam games, as my ssd can only hold a few, the rest sit on my storage hard drives for when i want to play them and not have to wait for them to download/install.

That's what I did for Hellgate that I bought through EA a couple years back. That game could have done well imo if it wasn't for the pay to access certain areas.

Lucasarts week wraps up this weekend on Steam, with Monkey Island Special Edition and Monkey Island 2: Lechuck's Revenge Special Edition in a combo for $7.50, or individually for $5. These are remastered releases of the originals with updated graphics and audio.
Well worth it if you haven't played the original games, and probably still worth it if you have. Lucas Arts Weekend Sale

Direct2drive's deals of the day are CivCity Rome and SimCity 4 Deluxe for $9.95 each.

Bought SC4, having fun so far. Though I wonder if there is a trick to aiming the military helicopter, I leveled half my industrial zone (including the powerplant, lol) trying to destroy a building.
