I picked up Farcry 3 for $27 last night from Direct2Play, you cannot use it with Steam, but it works with Uplay.

GoG has all sorts of older games on sale for the next 22ish hours, inlcuding Witcher 2 (75% off) and Heroes of Might and Magic entire library (75%). All GoG games are configured so that they will run on Win 7 automatically without the need for DosBox or anything else.

Anyone play Fable III? It's on sale for $13 bucks. That's a good price, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. The other Fable games seemed REALLY shallow. Any chance this one has a better story, or is a half decent game?

Fable III is the worst of the three, with the 2nd one being the second worst. Really the only good game in that series is Fable 1 (including The Lost Chapters expansion)

OH it most definitely has, they completed neutered the magic system that worked great in Number one.

Have you tried the Demo or played it yet? If you haven't I'd recommend trying it first. It might be worth it anyway at 5$, but it's one of the few games I played for 5-6 hours and then quit without finishing. It gets really dull and repetitive. Just turns into a grind-a-thon (IMO).
