I'm still putting in a couple of sessions a week in the hopes that something will drop and/or they'll patch it up. ATM there really isn't anything out there that's interesting me.

The young lad's been playing PoE for a week or so, I may take a fit and spend the $10 just to keep me going. :)

Co-op is still fun for the most part, at least we can bitch to each other on TS every time we pick up a completely useless item or Haedrig makes 16 completely useless items in a row...Got a 4th legenadary item, seems you can't dye them FFS.

Heh... after 400+ hours I finally had a set item drop, and it ended up being a monk specific pant. I'm using it anywise 'cause I like the faster attack and movement speeds. :)

The thing I would like to see them improve on is having set pieces drop from bosses. I know they said they didn't want people doing boss runs over and over again, but the fact is that the random nature of drops is a frustration for everyone. You should know that if you kill the Skelly King, you have a 1% chance of getting a set piece of one particular set. Sure, you may have to run him 1000 times to get the set, but you did the work to get it... not farmed gold (or bought gold for those who are so inclined) to purchase a full set. This was one of the things that kept people playing D2, the Mephisto runs, (or whatever was your favourite).

I understand the need to farm better gear to progress in Inferno, I get it, but when better gear never seems to drop, you get frustrated. But then again, I am a completionist and the damn achievement system is my hook... I keep trying to finish as many as I can. 3 chars to 60 so far, 2 more moving through... and another achievement will be done. :) I am not sure if I am going to do the 2 of the same char type to 60 (hey, who am I kidding, of course I am going to get at least one type there, just to clear the achievement)

On the off chance that anybody is interested (in spite of the bad press... ;) ) the DIII Starter edition which allows you to play through to the first boss and up to lvl 13 is now available through a battlenet account.

LOL!!! They're getting desperate now, too many have stopped playing. Seems like SWTOR is having the same problem. I gave up on Diablo long ago, not because it was a bad game but because of the bad decisions being made by Blizzturd.

This is actually about on line with what they announced WRT DIII starter packs when the game went live. But yeah, it does look like a pretty desperate move on their part. :)

I wish I had just done the starter instead of buying the game... Act I the first time was really the only fun part for me II, III and IV were okay but just painfully easy (so was Act I but DII nostalgia kept me mistified).
