I'll say my mea-culpa now... it appears that the "Fixed a bug that was causing Unique monsters to not drop the appropriate amount of loot when slain" did result in mini-bosses and unique monsters (purple names) getting back a reasonable drop. At least I don't have to bite my lip when something that was quite difficult to kill drops nothing but a tome of blacksmithing.... :)

Finished off inferno skeleton king, and managed to get a pretty good crafting run but it didn't result in anything really worthwhile keeping.

I think its safe to say the drop rate has increased. I didn't see a rare off the inferno Skeleton king with wiz in like 4 days and yesterday i got 2 rares plus 2 purples

Hmm it seems it's almost based on the game you create too.

First game we (fiancee and I) created/played in last night we each got a low level legendary drop (2nd characters, around level 25), and saw quite a bit of magical and rare drops.

Second game we created/played in last night we were getting less drops, though it seemed i was getting more magical/rares dropping then she was. It's almost as if the 2nd game was trying to balance out the amount we got in the first game.

I think it's all random chance. The roll of a dice. Just like you can get AA 2 hands in a row in poker even though statistically you should only see them once in every 216 hands.

I hate the enraged elites! We were 3 trying to kill a pack of elite in Act II inferno yesterday. Illusionnist, extra-life, arcanne, desecrator... we could not reach the yellow elite with all the new mob spawming and stunning us (barb myself + monk + DH), so we reach the enrage mode!

Yeah, there are certainly some combinations that are damn near impossible to defeat. I'm surprised though that they didn't throw in either "jailor" or frozen along with the desicrator/arcane.... :)

The arcanne doesn't bother me much, I can leap around and charge when needed :P

I think I hate "frozen" the most!

Or throw in Immune or, Immune minions
