Yeah... really!!!!

That said, resolving the "endgame" itemization issues should be an easy fix for them as it's all about the numbers they've input, making core changes to the game philosophy/design that people are hating.... not so easy until they come out with an expansion pack.

I'm right up to diablo on hell ATM, but drops are pathetic no matter how many full NV runs I do.

Yes the drop rate is pretty brutal. Pretty much if you aren't in a party with people that share loot you aren't getting much at all. Then once you hit inferno you pretty much have no choice but to grind ridiculous amounts of gold and use the AH.

Blizzard is trying to create a cash cow out of the RMAH, and essentially catered the drop rate of items to be very slim so that items sell for good $ on the RMAH. Its a terrible design choice imo, but I'm sure it'll make them money off people with nothing better to do then spend real coin on items.

Your alternative? Grind gold for days on end to buy off the gold AH. I was a big time proponant of D2 as the farming was tough, but doable, but this game has pritty much done its time for me already.

Yeah, it's pretty well accepted that the quality of gear you need to have in order to be able to do anything in inferno act II+ doesn't start dropping until inferno act III, so the only option is to grind for gold in order to purchase from the AH or reach into your pocket for real cash, but expect to be paying a minimum of $250 real cash for a single decent piece of kit.

1.03 is suppose to increase/balance the drop rates, whenever that comes out.

The launcher updated this evening and the AH is down, so I suspect we'll have a patch to bugger everything up tomorrow, although after playing 2p co-op on nightmare, the drop in damage will be nice, damn trees.

On a side note, it's kinda interesting when you come accross the scoundrel when you have Lyndon as your companion..

They hotfixed in the damage multiplayer nerf last week or so. Its been live for a while now, so if you're getting rocked, you'll still be getting rocked tomorrow too .

Patch 1.03 is apparently going live during today's scheduled maintenence. Say goodbye to your currently IAS boosted damage levels unless it's on a DH quiver, all other IAS are taking at least 50% nerf.
