This is also going to make treasure chest runs a lot easier... since bosses will be single player tough, one player will be able to keep the bosses busy while the other opens the chest to look for decent loot. In three month's time, when the game economy is completely crap because of high end gear saturating the AH, they're going to then turn around and buff the bosses because co-op play is too easy which will make it impossible to play single w/o using the AH.......

Ah... whatever.... I've got my 100+ hours out of it, if they screw it up completely I'll just move on to torchlight II when it comes out. (Strangely enough I avoided torchlight 1 because it looked too "cartoony".... now that DIII looks exactly the same I don't have that same bias..... ;) ).

Eh, its a time will tell thing.
ITs a lot better right now than the Boss or BAAL runs that were happening in D2.
I think then need to expand the levels a bit in patches, and some more random stuff to happen. Because even the loot runs I've done havne't netted me much of anything good.
OR worthy.
I don't think AH will be so easily ruined.

It's the weekly 8 hour scheduled maintenance regime they ported over from WOW. It'll be down every tuesday morning / early afternoon + expect the first few of these to run over time as they iron out the early patch bugs.

Can anyone tell me what proc means? I hear my friends call the random generated stats on items procs, as well as the boss abilities. This just seems wrong to me as I cannot figure out what it stands for.

I give them credit for being pretty good about keeping folks informed these days.... much better than the bad old days of not having a clue whether it was a planned outage, and/or the zombie apocolypse has started...... ;)

Oh the days of "It'll only take 4 hours"...4 hours later "Uh looks like we need another 4, maybe 5?"...5 hours later "Someone killed the server hamsters, we'll need some time to fix that."

Proc just means an item has a chance to do a special effect... So if you have a 2.2% chance of chilling on hit you could say it has a 2.2% chance to proc.

JJThomp I know what it means when they say proc but what word does proc actually stand for? What is it short for? I know I'm being a nit picker but it bothers me that everyones uses this word in which I feel noone even knows what they are saying. None that I have played with have been able to tell me :P

Don't you love Frozen, Mortar, Arcane, Invul Minions?

Just for fun guys lets hear your 'favorite' combination of worst 4 'procs' on champion packs and rares.
