Yep, 270 dps one-hand axe. I find that a shield is helping me survive.

My Monk picked this up from a nobody in ActII @ normal...

I think when my WD is finished with it I'll sling it up on the auction house, or maybe just salvage it.

I picked up a legendary armor awhile back in Normal. It was beyond sucky. I'm at Hell II at the moment and haven't picked up anything "legendary" since.

That is a pretty nice Legendary for the low level. Sadly it will only be usable for about 2-3 hours lol then onto the next one. I've gotten 3 extremely sorry excuses for a level 59 Legendary's. 2 of which will not sell on the AH for even 100k where as I have sound several blues and yellows for 100k+. 1 I had to sell for 50k on AH.

Patch 1.0.3 Design Preview: Patch 1.0.3 Design Preview - Diablo III

Quote:
We’re removing the bonus monster damage per additional player in a coop game. Our design goal is for players who prefer to play solo to be able to play solo, and players who prefer to play in groups to be able to play in a group. We feel the bonus monster damage per additional player is one of the biggest inhibitors to wanting to play with your friends. In a perfect world, single player and co-op would be absolutely equal, but that’s not attainable when you consider item properties such as “Life on Kill” or skills such as Archon which simply scale better when you are solo. Since the variety and breadth of game mechanics essentially dictate that solo vs. group play will never be 100% equal, our goal is to make them as close as possible but err on the side of coop in cases where we need to make adjustments. The inherent logistical requirements when forming up with other players and attempting to work together effectively warrants some added benefits.
So they are making co-op easier then it is right now, interesting eh?

Heh.... yeah, they're "fixing" the wrong bloody things!!!!!! So are they also going to nerf the drops to make up for the lower threat/difficulty???

Actually they are changing the drop rates too, as well as making it so that you get less drops from the bosses in inferno when you have full valor and allow you to get more from rare/elite packs.

Inferno Acts 2-4 are getting nerfed slightly as they've found the curve is higher then they though compared to Inferno Act 1.

Not gonna lie, I don't mind the damage reduction this time around. At least for those of us with less than ideal gear we can survive more effectively than before.

I'm not going to whine about it much more than to say that tougher bosses in co-op always was a balance issue as a trade-off for how much easier it is to kill bosses when you can have one character keep them busy while the other either heals or does ranged attacks. This is also going to make treasure chest runs a lot easier... since bosses will be single player tough, one player will be able to keep the bosses busy while the other opens the chest to look for decent loot. In three month's time, when the game economy is completely crap because of high end gear saturating the AH, they're going to then turn around and buff the bosses because co-op play is too easy which will make it impossible to play single w/o using the AH.......

Ah... whatever.... I've got my 100+ hours out of it, if they screw it up completely I'll just move on to torchlight II when it comes out. (Strangely enough I avoided torchlight 1 because it looked too "cartoony".... now that DIII looks exactly the same I don't have that same bias..... ;) ).
