I totally agree with you ss, they have to fix the legendary sets crafts to more line up with their difficulty.

And ponies. Lots of ponies.

My first rift was a whimsyshire one which left me in horror that all rifts were going to be my little pony runs..... ;)

One of the things I don't like is the way they designed the lvl 70 set plans (and lower end legendary plans).... cost to create is silly high, and not only are all 6 rolls RNG, the range is exactly the same as any other lvl 70 gear that can drop. The chances of getting a decent roll even 5 of 6 (lets you reroll the crappy one) are pretty slim, and certainly don't line up with the cost to craft them. Hell, they even scrubbed the % fire res on the lvl 70 demon skin which removes the whole purpose of the set. Set crafting at lower levels was useful because of the guaranteed rolls, having all stats roll random for a high price pretty much defeats the purpose.
Mostly agree, but you're not 100% correct with the bolded part. Most of the crafted set items can roll close to 500 main stat/vit, as opposed to 415(?) max from rares. Sure, random legendaries can roll close to 500 as well, but it's nice to be able to target particular set items/legendaries via crafting rather than relying on RNGesus.

Example: Laas - Community - Diablo III

Yes, I should have specified that it's the same range as lvl 70 legs and set items including those that are lower level items upgraded to cLvl. Crafted rares have lower ranges.

On the same topic... I just found the blood magic dagger recipe which rolls a guaranteed 5-7% IAS. IMO, that's the kind of thing we need for the recipes.

The big thing is they have to fix the drop rates for a lot of the set item lego drops, some of them are just plain stupid, 200 kills no drops type stupid.

I don't do multiplayer but my young lad does and I'm pretty sure the great majority of his games now are based off of the clan he joined.

I've never tried a public game ... really the only time I want to play multi-player is with friends. That being said, the only "pattern" I've seen regarding leg/set drops is that my drop rate seems to be it's highest when I play Torment 1 with one other person. If there are 3 or 4 people playing (myself included of course), I've gone easily 1hr+ without seeing anything decent, but then as soon as it's dropped to 2 people total, I've picked up 2 legendaries and 1 set plan in a matter of 15 minutes.

And I know, the standard "RNG is RNG" BS statement applies, but I have seen consistently more legendaries and set plans when I play with one of my friends than any other combination.

Edit: I also realize that I haven't played even remotely enough to come to some sort of concrete conclusion, but if anyone would like to add me (as a friend or to the clan), it's krazyups#1408.
