Yes he weaved a fantastic tale in #1 and that's what really makes it a great game for me too, again and again, like a good book.

If they make another, can we not have enemies randomly spawn in cleared spots, its a pet peeve of mine.
+1 to that...

I personally liked #2, I never go into sequals with big hopes, but bioshock 2 was a fun play for me, that being said it deffinetly wasnt #1, and I look forward to some yesteryear skyspace tomfoolery. The part about the sky thats going to change the game the most for me though was the fact that Bioshock was set in such a locked down place, no way out, under the ocean with no easy access in or out. The sky is well.. the sky, its out in the open, dont wanna be there grab a parachute and jump? The freedom of the sky is going to be hard to work with to get the same ambiance as the first 2 games.

I loved the first one. I actually only finished it recently. I haven't played the second but I have it downloaded.

Anyway, this one looks good. Think they'll ever make a System Shock 3?

If it is ever made, Irrational probably won't have anything to do with it. EA owns the rights to the series.

I guess the Bioshock series is like a spiritual successor to System Shock anyway. I just miss the space setting and SHODAN.

It's been out for a week, but i guess this might contribute to the thread. Gameplay video is out

It is quite too early for a gameplay video, still has time to change a lot. Still, i like the feeling.

This video is probably just a marketing thing : evaluate the potential buyers with the # of views and create hype.

It's likely a scripted playthrough that the team will use as a goal/benchmark/guideline to strive for in terms of real gameplay throughout the game. If the game was THAT finished I don't think we'd be waiting for a 2012 release. ;)

But nonetheless I have some faith in this project.
