Has anyone heard any news on this yet?
I know Smith and Tinker were working on a remake, but that was last year and I've heard no updates.

Limbo I believe as I don't think it was even shown at this year's E3.

I hope, if it's released, they go back to the grass roots of the mech games. I much preferred them when you were a free lancing merc doing jobs for cash and parts to outfit and upgrade your mech. As far as I'm concerned, the one for SNES was the best. Total freedom in your missions and mechs. It was like a violent mech version of Gran Turismo.

Add Microsoft to that list too, I believe they still hold production rights to the Mechwarrior (videogame) franchise.

Check out the mechwarrior crysis mod in the mean time. MechWarrior: Living Legends It's got a great community and is in continuous development. It's multiplayer only and requires the original crysis, but they're moving to crysis wars in the next patch.
